We just got home from the doctor's office. Tanner has been coughing and sneezing accompanied by a fever and runny nose. Tanner has an ear infection again but in the other ear. He lost an ounce from our last appointment. He hasn't been eating like himself.....even before he got the bug. Now that he's sick he's been coughing so hard that he'll spit up most of what he's eaten. I'm not going to worry about his first weight loss because I think it's definitely related to the Tanner's sick status right now. His OT said she thought his reflux was bothering him again. Dr. Kathryn is taking him off of the Zantac and replacing it with Prilosec to see if it makes a difference. He'll also be on an antibiotic again for the ear infection. Hopefully they'll will both recover quickly. I wish this post was full of happy news but we've got to take the downs with ups, right? Hope everybody is well.
This makes me smile though. Tanner in his big brother's chair.
Even being sick he managed a cute little smile with his red nose:)

Poor Tanner. I hope both boys feel better soon. We know Tanner can recover fully and quickly. Let me know how the prilosec is working out. Riley is now on Zantac and Prevacid and her reflux is horrible right now. We are thinking about you guys
