Some very late updates

Tanner had a few appointments last week. Monday we saw opthamology about his strabismus. The doctor actually noticed subtle strabismus in both eyes. We had only noticed it in the left. Right now we're rotating patching each eye, every other day, for 45 minutes. He doesn't like it to say the least. The patches are just like band aids but in an oval type shape.
The first day that Tanner wore his patch Carter said "Mommy?? Carter touch the pirate?" I almost fell on the floor! He really catches me off guard sometimes.
Tanner also had a check up with the pediatrician. Tanner weighs 12 POUNDS!!!! Well, that was a week ago so he's a little more now. He also recovered rather quickly from his ear infection and bronchiolitis. So, all good news. He did however have a fever today that I kept under control. It's gone now but I'm not really sure where it came from. He didn't have any other symptoms.
Tanner's been doing great with his OT. He's really getting better at sitting with less support and putting weight on his arms.
"Uh oh Mommy! There's something in my diaper!"

I'm keeping it short and sweet tonight. Today we actually didn't have any appointments so I turned our day of rest and relaxation into a top to bottom house cleaning day. Needless to say....it's bed time for Mommy!

I love reading all the good news. Tanner is getting SO BIG!

I cannot wait to see him again soon. Count us in for the January get-together. Would love to see everyone.

So glad for he weight gain. I'm glad you are doing the patching rather than surgery. Riley's is too severe to go that route. Sounds like he is doing awesome.
