Happy Days

Tanner is doing so well! He's sitting in his boppy for long periods of time and even unsupported for about 7 seconds.....that counts!! He did so well with OT and PT this week. Our two main goals at his 6 month review were to work on sitting and have him pushing all the way up on his arms. They both are in his near future. Out of nowhere it seems Tanner has become extremely motivated and mobile. In three big scoots he's out of the boppy newborn lounger. I'll have to take a video so you can see what I mean. He also scoots all around the floor with just his legs. He doesn't like to use his arms unless I make him. It's amazing to see how far he's come!!! In this picture his PT got him in a position that puts some of his weight on his legs and it worked. Two weeks ago Tanner was not even close to having his arms fully extended bearing weight. I'm beyond proud!!!!
Tanner has a tooth coming in but can't seem to fit anything into his mouth to relieve the pain. I've been massaging his gums for him but he still tries to shove the biggest things in his mouth.

Tanner is still eating great. Both formula and solids. He's been very into Yo Baby Yogurt. This week we had banana (bleck) and vanilla. I think I'm gonna get him some different flavors at the grocery store tomorrow and see how does with a flavor a little more bold.
I also finally looked up a wonderful lady that we met about a month and a half ago that offered her Holistic Therapies for Tanner. We've arranged to get together after the holidays so she can start Craniosacral therapy on Tanner. I'm really looking forward to it. (Thanks Hannah!)
I've always got to throw things in here about Tyler and Carter. Carter is going through a phase where he takes his shoes and socks off in the car EVERY SINGLE TIME we go somewhere. At a red light I turned around and saw this. Notice Tyler's look of absolute disgust. Haha.
He quickly got over it and smiled for a picture.
I'm really excited or Christmas this year. The boys are really into it. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!
I'll get video of Tanner scooting up here soon. Prepare to be amazed.

TANNER IS SCOOTING! This is amazing news! He is really strong and doing so great, Jess. Norrah still does not scoot. But she does roll everywhere. We are trying to get her to realize she can scoot but she just defaults to rolling. ARGGG!!

Tanner is a big boy and doing amazingly well. YIPPPEEE!!!
