He's getting pudgy!

So, Tanner had a check up with Dr. Kathryn today to check up on his ear infection and bronchiolitis. He's all better. He weighed in at 12 pounds and 6 ounces. Dr. Kathryn was very pleased. He gained almost half a pound in 2 weeks. He had lost a half ounce 2 weeks ago and was 11 pounds 15.5 ounces. He got bundled to go to his appointment because it's been a bit nippy around here.

He had a 6.5 ounce bottle this morning and finished every drop of a 7 ounce bottle about an hour ago. He's doing very well. He also had physical therapy this morning so we learned some new exercises to strengthen Tanner's arms and trunk. He played under his little jungle friends today. He's getting very good at grabbing them. Before it was almost on accident that his hands came in contact with them but now he reaches right out and gets them.

CLOSE UP!!!! Look at those lashes.

I have to make a few appointments for the next couple of months. Urology is first on the list. Tanner will have to be scheduled for another surgery to bring his right testicle into the scrotum. He had his left one surgical brought down in June but they were hoping the other one would come on it's own. It has not so we will get that scheduled. A testicle in the abdomen can have a greater risk for testicular cancer do to the difference in temperature. We also are going to get the ball rolling with craniosacral therapy that comes highly recommended by our friends Hannah and Riley. We will have to schedule soon for the developmental pediatrician too. They want to see Tanner when he's a year old again. That's not until February but it's tough getting appointments so I better call them tomorrow.
That's all for now. I just wanted to share a bit of good news.

What a chubby little man you have! So glad he is gaining weight so well. Riley is eating better but doesn't have a weight check until next week. I know she is no where close to Tanner though. We just had craniosacral this morning, love it!
