Today's appointments and updates

Today Tanner had a weight check to follow up his 7 ounce loss from his cold. He was 10 pounds 2 ounces last Monday and today he was 10 pounds 11 ounces. YEEEAAAHH Tanner!! That's more than an ounce a day that he gained this week. He was also 23 and a half inches long. He was 18 inches when he was born so he's trucking along beautifully. He also had 2 immunizations today. They are now breaking them up into 2 appointments since he spiking fevers when given all of them at the same time. So in 2 weeks he will get the others. There's no fever tonight so it's seems like a good move so far.
After that we went t see a new neurologist (still from CHOP) to follow up from his stay at CHOP 2 weeks ago. This Neurologist seemed confused as to why Tanner was ever put on the Keppra to control seizures because all of his EEGs were fine. So.....now I'm supposed to ween him off of it. If he ends up starting the partial seizures again I'm supposed to call this doctor and bring him in for another EEG. I'd love for him NOT to need the medicine but I guess time will tell.
Tanner's been eating like a champ lately. He totally sucks every last drop from his 5 ounce bottles so looks like we're gonna step it up to 6 ounces. It's Tanner's bath time! Thanks for reading my first blog:)

This looks great, Jess! And I am so excited that Tanner gained so much weight and also that he does not need seizure meds. I am proud of what you have done with the blog so far. Not bad for your first day! :)
