We started Tanner on rice cereal when he turned 5 months old. He didn't seem thrilled about it to say the least. But when he came down with a cold and then had the partial seizures and was hospitilalized we backed off of the cereal. Well, we're back at it again and he's still not thrilled. I'm mixed baby pears in it and he still doesn't seem to like it. Today I put him in his high chair for the first time.....it didn't change the eating though:) He did however look super, duper cute sitting there though. Wanna see?
So, Tanner has just been killing his bottles. Six ounces almost every bottle. Today he had 6 ounces at 11:45am and then another 4 ounces at 2pm. He usually eats every 4 hours. He's a piggy today. I did weigh him on our scale on Sunday and he weighed 11 lbs 2 ounces. At his appointment last Monday he was 10 lbs 11 oz. There's usually a slight difference in ounces between our home scale and the doctors. But either way, he always gaining.
Tyler and Carter are also doing wonderful. Tyty started school yesterday. He looked so cute on his first day of kindergarten.
Carter has had me fooled lately. For a couple of weeks now the pillows on our bed kept ending up in the corner of the room on the floor. I just thought Justin was getting sick of having so many pillows on the bed. We have 2 in regular pillow cases, 2 in shams, 2 in Euro shams, and 2 small decorative pillows. Anyway, I found that Carter was the pillow bandit. After giving Tanner a bath I heard a small voice say "To infinity and beyond" followed by a small "thud". I followed the small voice coming from our bedroom to find Carter emerging from a sea of pillows. So, he likes taking all of the pillows from our bed to give himself a soft landing when pretending to be Buzz Lightyear. So, I grabbed my camera. He's so funny.
Here's Mr. Tanman yesterday. He was hammin it up for the camera. I have no idea where he gets it.

To answer your question on my Monday post - the stander came from the physical therapist. We get to use it indefinitely until Norrah doesn't need it anymore! Pretty great.
Way to go Tanner with the weight gain! That is awesome! Riley has some serious catching up to do. I can't believe he takes 6 oz a feeding! Love the high chair, Riley loves sitting in hers, especially while we are sitting at the table for dinner. She feels like a part of the action.
