I tried to take quite a few videos over the last couple of days but had little luck. I've been trying for months to get a video of Tanner giggling. He only does it in his room on his changing table and only when I'm undressing him. It seems like when I have my camera ready to go he doesn't do it and when I don't he lets out the perfect little giggle. It's truly such a beautiful heart warming sound. So, I unfortunately do not have giggle video. I also do not have video of his scooting with his legs because he was in no mood for it yesterday. Usually he pushes so hard with his feet while laying on his arms that it looks like he's trying to do a head stand or like he's gonna flip. It's crazy looking. I do have a great video though. I mentioned how Tanner was kind of scooting out of his Boppy newborn lounger pillow. This pillow is the best thing that I've ever purchased. It's not the typical Boppy. I think of the regular boppy as a donut with the hole in the middle and the lounger as if you got a jelly filled donut. Silly, I know......but this is the only place Tanner will take a bottle!!! I'm so nervous for when he grows out of it which is going to be very soon. Here the little turkey is scooting right off of the pillow though.
I think this picture is so funny! Tanner loves playing with my old pom poms. They must be very visually stimulating. Tanner also has been playing with Transformers just like his big brothers. They are very easy for him to grab onto. I'm so very excited for Christmas this year. It just come fast enough for me. The next few weeks are going to be very busy. I'm originally from Altoona, Pa so I have different family members visiting over the next 2 weeks. Then of course there's Christmas Day. Carter's birthday is the day after Christmas. We won't have his party until January 9th though. At the end of January we are hosting a little Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome family get together. I'm very excited for this!!!! We met some wonderful families this summer at a WHS family picnic and just fell in love with sharing time with other families and their beautiful children. There's really no other experience like it. Once January turns into February we have Tyler's 6th birthday the 23rd and Tanner's 1st birthday the 25th. So, we're not going to be bored over the next few months for sure. Not that I'm ever bored!!!! This week is free and clear of appointments for Tanner other than his usual weekly occupational therapy Monday and Physical Therapy Tuesday, both here at the house. But Christmas week he sees the pediatrician Monday along with the usualy OT and then he sees the Urologist for an exam of his right testicle along with the usual PT. The pediatrician says she cannot locate his testicle which is predicted to be in his abdomen. Most likely he will be scheduled for surgery. At birth both testicles were undecended. In June it was discovered that a hernia had formed when the left testicle started to decend on it's own so it was operated on then. I would have preferred them to just operate on the right side when they did the left but they said they wanted to give it a chance to come down on it's own. One surgery just sounded like a lot better than two to me. So, there's the low down on what's going on around here these days and in the upcoming weeks. I'm sure I will be a major blogging slacker around the holidays because it's so busy. I do plan on having an end of the year posting with all of my favorite pictures from 2009 though. I'm looking forward to picking all my favs. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season. Enjoy the time with your families!!!

I cannot believe how long Tanner looks! Riley is 23 in and looks so short compared to Tanner. Love that pillow, I haven't seen a boppy like that before. Sounds like you have some busy weeks ahead of you. We can't wait to see more pictures from the holidays.
