3 weeks of pictures and videos

Hello all! We've been MIA in the blogging world AGAIN. Blogging, like most things that I enjoy, kind of get pushed to the bottom of the priority list. I'm sure all of you mothers and fathers out there know what I mean:)
Since my last post we've had 2 birthday parties and a lot of other things going on. I'll start with fun pictures of the birthday parties though. Tyler had a bowling party and right after we all headed back to our house for cake and ice cream for Tanner.
This looks like trouble. This is Tyler and Carter with their buddies Luke and Gabe. Their such cutie pies.

Justin and I with the birthday boy.

My beautiful niece Sydney ready to party.

This is sweet Marianna enjoying some party favors. Her big brother Jacob was there too but the picture of him didn't turn out.

Tanner was less than thrilled about his birthday hat.

Tanner with my grandmother. We miss you Grandma!!!

Tanner's first birthday cake.

Blowing ou the candles with a little help from Mommy.

Tanner playing with cousin Luke

Princess Daddy at the end of a busy day.

We also welcomed 11 new members to our family. WE GOT FISH!!! My mom and step dad so graciously gave us their 30 gallon fish tank a few months back. We finally made a few small upgrades and got it up and running. I have to say the kids, Justin and I came up with some pretty creative names. Their names are Baby Baluga, Shere Khan, Buggy, Two Fin, Bumblebee, Ernie, Bert, Bob, Flounder, Goldie, and Bruce. I tried to get some pictures but fish NEVER stay still. Here's what I managed to get.
Carter named this guy Buggy for obvious reasons.

Tyler named this fish Two Fin. He's pretty cool.

This is Shere Khan. I named him that because he is orange with black stripes like Shere Khan the tiger from The Jungle Book.

This is Baby Baluga named by Carter.

Missing from the photos is Ernie and Bert. These are the 2 babies of all of the fish and they are Tanner's. We all agreed on the names because Tanner glues himself to Sesame Street when Ernie and Bert are on. Bumblebee got his name because Justin and the kids are Transformer maniacs!! Bob is blue like the Bob from Monsters VS Aliens. Bruce got his name because of the shark from Finding Nemo.....and we all enjoy saying with our Australian accents "Ello, my name's BRUCE!" Goldie was named by Tyler because he's a gold fish....pretty simple. Last but not least is Flounder.....Carter is in some kind of amazing love with the Little Mermaid movie. Haha. Yeah this is the same kid that loves Cars, Toy Story, and Monsters vs Aliens. Go figure!
Okay, enough about the fish and the story that goes with them. I have some super cute videos of Tanner he's getting so interactive. I love it!
I thought this wasso cute because he actually seems like hes tryign to get the phone to his ear.

Tanner loves his play mat. He really gives his jungle a friends a beating.

So, most of you already know through Face Book that Tanner was sick. At the beginning of February he was sick with a cold for about 2 weeks. Tanner is not a good eater when he's sick and we have to add breathing treatments every four hours to get him to eat anything. When he recovered from that he ate well for about 3 days and then started having reflux issues. So, his pediatrician gave his Prilosec dose a boost. Once the reflux was under control, he got sick again. It was a rough 4 weeks for our little man. His weight had pretty much plateaued for the whole month of February and first week of March. Last Monday when we went for Tanner's first 1 year immunization he had gained a few ounces and was up to 13 pounds 10 ounces. I was so happy he was gaining again and so thankful that he wasn't sick anymore. Today when we went for the second shot of his one year immunizations he was 13 ponds 8 ounces. I'm really shocked that he lost weight. He's been eating all of his bottles plus 3 solid meals a day. Way more than he has eaten all month. I didn't think of it at the time of the appointment to mention it to his doctor but.....he was put on Lactulose for constipation a few weeks ago because the diagnostics doctor said he was very very backed up. So, I'm thinking maybe the weight loss is from getting rid of all of that waste that was a part of his weight before. I'm not sure but I'm going to try not to worry too much. We go next Monday for the last shot of his one year immunizations so we'll see what he weighs then. Our plan to do one shot at a time has worked out beautifully. Although is does make for a much busier schedule, it's been very well worth it. Tanner has not even had a fever. What a relief to actually be able to control SOMETHING!! I also think we have a surgery date for his orchiopexy (right undecended testicle) and 2 eye surgeries. We think May 7th but are waiting on one confirmation. Tan Man has been doing great in therapy as well. He sat for almost 2 minutes last week and is still loveing to hold all of his weight on his legs. He's also begun to roll from his back to both sides which is so wonderful to see. Tanner just brightens up everyday with that smile of his.
Tyler and Carter are doing well. Both have also been sick over the last few weeks. I guess it's going around though. Carter has an appointment with a different GI specialist to get a second opinion on his bowel troubles. I'm going to do everything I can to get my baby an MRI or something. These problems have been going on since he was 6 months old. It's ridiculous that everybody is just brushing it off as constipation and holding it. The poor kid gets Mirolax EVERY morning, numerous enemas, and I lost count of suppositories a long time ago. I really feel like there's an underlying problem. I'm just praying that it's nothing serious. Please pray for my little man.
Here's carter and Tyler goofing off with their bananas. They were singing "Ring ring ring ring Banana phone."

Oh my gosh! How adorable are all of those pictures!!! I especially think that Justin looks handsome in his princess crown-- lol. I will call my friend whose son had the same bowel problem that Carter has and see if she has any insight. It has been awhile since we talked about it, but I know that she has been down that same road as you are on now. Looking forward to seeing you again in a few weeks at Lauren's! Hugs to all!

I'm so glad to see an updated blog, I know you are so busy, but I always get excited to see new pictures of Tanner. He is just so handsome. I'm glad he is feeling better, hopefully the weight will keep on going up now. Riley definitely had a bit of a lose when she initially started on a laxative. I was noticing in your second video how he kept putting his left index finger in his mouth, that is so Riley!! That is the only finger she wants right now as she is teething and chomps on it the exact same way all day long. These two are such little twins. See you soon!
