Rainy Days

We always look forward to our Saturdays with the boys. There was to be a block party today but postponed until tomorrow due to the weather. So we found some fun inside things to do. For starters, we recently (Tuesday) and reluctantly sold the beautiful pool table that once fit so perfectly in our finished basement. So, we had a huge empty space to fill. We decided to extend the kids playroom, that is already awesome, into the empty portion too. It's really cool. One whole wall is a chalk board and it's just over flowing with toys. Here's the kids playroom that they already had.

So, even after moving some of big toys and train table into the new space....it still seemed kind of empty. Tyler, Carter, and I fixed that this morning and got a play hut with crawl through tunnels. So, in addition to the first play room it now extends into the back portion of the basement. We are pleased with the transformation......even if our "grown up" space has been reduced. But we do still have the other third of the basement as our space.....unless the kids are playing Wii on the TV there. Haha.

As always, with or without rain, the boys always love playing with their baby brother:)
